Pickleball as
School sports
Learned quickly, immediately in the game
Pickleball is extremely easy to understand. Children can play within minutes without having to memorize lengthy rules. This ensures quick success, motivation, and enjoyment of movement right from the start.
Movement for everyone – regardless of level
The playing field is manageable, the rackets are light, and the ball is easy to control. This allows children with varying levels of athletic ability to play together. Pickleball promotes coordination, reaction time, and endurance without being overly demanding.
Team spirit instead of individual competition
Pickleball is usually played in doubles. Communication, fair play, and mutual support are paramount. It's ideal for strengthening social skills and playfully promoting class cohesion.

Enthusiasm for young and old
Over 100 students in grades 3-6 had the opportunity to try pickleball during our project week. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The game was great fun, easy to understand, and offers plenty of exercise. Many children expressed a desire to play pickleball again soon.

Inclusive, thoughtfully designed, and easily accessible
We were particularly impressed by how inclusive pickleball is. Thanks to the luminous ball, good ball size, and clear game organization, our visually impaired daughter was able to participate without any problems. Finally, a sport where everyone can truly take part.

Self-starter
It's practically a no-brainer... they just play ;)
FAQ
Especially for schools
From what age is pickleball suitable?
We recommend and have had the best experience with students aged 7 and up.
What kind of field do we need?
Most gyms have badminton courts marked out, which are perfect for pickleball. We also like to play outside on the tartan sports field, if one is available.
How many children are in the gym?
Often you have space for 3-4 nets, but have gymnastics classes with 20+ children. We recommend having 4-6 children play per net.
The other children could do exercises against the wall in the hallway, or you could create a large playing area with lots of space where you play round-the-table (like in table tennis). That's guaranteed to be great fun.
Of course, options like small tournaments are also possible, ideally in such a way that the better and weaker children can compete against each other, so that everyone retains the enjoyment.
Rules of the game
You can find the official rules at the Swiss Pickleball Association website, but feel free to check out the short version and start with simple scoring, not the official system. The official scoring is the most complicated part of pickleball and completely irrelevant for children.
How much does a set cost?
We've put together a few sample sets for you, which we can of course adapt to your needs. We also offer invoicing for schools, payable within 30 days.
We will customize the set for you based on the following parameters.
- Hall floor: color, material
- School level, important for choosing rackets
- Existing network system
- Number of children per gymnastics class
- budget
- and much more.

Contact formPickleball, like most other racket sports, is considered ideal for learning hand-eye coordination in a playful way.
The rules are straightforward and easy to learn, so it can be played even in elementary school.
There are many practical and very simple exercises you can do with children. This way, a gymnastics lesson can be filled quickly.
- It starts with juggling, bouncing, balancing – the ball is very light, the racket short, light, and sturdy. This contributes to its simplicity compared to other racket sports.
- Play against the wall, 3 meters away. Let the ball bounce once or play it directly (advanced version).
- First, play in pairs over the net before playing with four people using one ball.
