New Joola 3S and Pro Player Paddles

I had the opportunity to test some of the new models at the Joola Pickleball Celebration 2024 in Orlando, Florida, and I am thrilled with the power and control that these new 3S paddles deliver. The new core provides incredible pop. The balls came precisely over the net, even in singles it was absolutely amazing. Those who know me know that I don't play singles often – am I not fit enough or not fast enough? Probably – but with the Anna Bright Scorpeus 3S Paddle, I played well enough that I was very satisfied at my level. It was fun, and that's all that matters. The Anna Bright Paddle has a large sweet spot and, with its mere 14mm, it is still a power paddle.

Compared to what I consider to be Joola's best paddle to date, the Hyperion C2, the new Hyperion 3S (in green by Ben Johns and in blue by Simone Jardim) is even better. The two Pro Pickleball Ambassadors, Mia van Rooyen and Antje Bruchner, are also now using the Joola Hyperion 3S (16mm) Pickleball Paddle.

I was able to hold the Tyson McGuffin Magnus 3S Paddle, but not play with it. Who would play with a paddle freshly signed by Ben Johns, Collin Johns, Anna Bright, Dekel Bar, Federico Staksrud, and of course Tyson McGuffin himself? The paddle definitely belongs in a display case (if only I had one).
