What are the differences between the original LUXX and the new LUXX Control Air with InfiniGrit pickleball bat?

The LUXX Control Air with InfiniGrit builds on the popularity of the player-friendly LUXX Control Air, but improves it with additional spin resistance and a little more power. The two most important improvements over the previous LUXX Control Air pickleball racket:

3 times longer lasting spin than raw carbon: The InfiniGrit surface has three times the durability of raw carbon rackets and offers improved spin potential for more accurate shots.

Ultimate control, but with more power: The 19 mm thick X7 Thikset Honeycomb Core (1 mm thinner than the previous version) and EVA foam in the neck and handle together provide additional power. This extra power does not come at the expense of control.

The X7 Thikset Honeycomb Core is 19 mm thick and provides a subtle power boost on shots. The new EVA foam in the throat area and handle (which was previously hollow) dampens vibrations while providing more flexibility and power in the stroke area. In addition, this improved paddle features the updated Wing Design Air Dynamic Throat.

What is InfiniGrit?

One point that was criticized about the original LUXX Control Air was the durability of its spin structure. Players wanted longer lasting spin, so we incorporated our InfiniGrit technology, which was first used on the Selkirk LABS Project 007 racket. InfiniGrit is an advanced surface texture that provides at least three times longer lasting spin than raw carbon rackets at up to 2,000 rpm.

How do I clean my LUXX pickleball bat?
To prolong the performance of your InfiniGrit surface, it is important to clean your racket. When the ball hits the club, it can leave behind residue - either from the ball itself or from dirt picked up from the court. The dirt fills in the structure of the racket surface, making it feel smoother over time.

To fix this, simply use a microfiber cloth, soap and water for a quick clean. This will restore your InfiniGrit surface, which will last three times longer than raw carbon.
