Two tournaments of the Swiss Pickleball Tour - Pro Pickleball as organizing partner

For pickleball in Switzerland, the year 2025 is all about growth, enthusiasm and top-class tournaments! Pro Pickleball has in recent weeks Two of the four official tournaments of the Swiss Pickleball Tour 2025 (SPT) and thus made a significant contribution to the further development of this sport in Switzerland.

Tournament highlight in Solothurn

One of the biggest tournaments of the SPT 2025 took place in So Active sports center in Solothurn took place. With impressive 87 players and 241 games in total 11 Categories it was a complete success. Numerous exciting matches, some surprises in the results and a great atmosphere made this tournament a real experience for all participants.

Pickleball grows in Ticino - A historic tournament!

The second tournament, the mainly sports development in the canton of Ticino was an important milestone for pickleball in Switzerland. Although fewer participants expectedbut with 55 players from all over Switzerland and a total of 153 games the event was very well attended.

A youngster on the SPT tour for the first time!

One particular highlight was the participation of a 10-year-old player - For the first time, a youngster in Ticino was part of the official Swiss Pickleball Tour! This shows that pickleball is also becoming increasingly popular among young sports enthusiasts.

Historic success for Ticino

Also remarkable: Players from Ticino took part in an SPT tournament for the first time - and with resounding success! Two players from Ticino won Gold in Mixed Doubles 2.5-3.79, Open Age and set a strong example for the growing pickleball community in the region.

Last chance for qualification points in Düdingen

After these two successful tournaments, the last qualifying tournament of the Swiss Pickleball Tour 2025 ahead. The tournament will be held in Düdingen by Rewan A. and his team from Tennis Düdingen aligned.

Here the players have the last opportunity to collect valuable points to qualify for the Swiss Championships. The tension is mounting, as it will soon become clear who will secure one of the coveted places for the Swiss Championship 2025 can secure!
